North Carolina Motorsports Park hosts the only event in the USA that features Grand Prix motocross, Sprint Enduro and EnduroCross
in one fun filled weekend
North Carolina Motorsports Park announced the inaugural Carolina Motofest set to take place on Labor Day weekend 2018. This AMA-sanctioned event will set a new standard for fun racing. Carolina MotoFest will be the only event in the USA to feature Grand Prix motocross, Sprint Enduro and Endurocross * in one exciting three day weekend.

“Let’s see who is the best at MotoFest” said Mark Czysz the owner of North Carolina Motorsports Park. The event will allow competitors to test their skill in three disciplines of off road racing. Riders can race one or all three events but only one Grand Champion will be crowned that is successful in all three types of racing. “We took all of our experience with EnduroCross, Extreme Enduro, Grand Prix motocross, amateur motocross and motorsports festivals to create an event that will bring an exceptional level of fun to amateur racers and provide an unmatched challenge for the top pro racers in the country said Tom Zielinski co-creator of MotoFest”

In addition to three great days of racing and nightly entertainment the holiday weekend will begin on Friday with riding schools that feature some of the greatest off road and motocross athletes in the country providing instruction to riders who sign up early.

Mark and Tom both commented that motorcycle racers are ready to try some new things and this event is exactly the unique approach that many racers have been looking for by connecting the off road and motocross communities with an event that everyone can enjoy. “The event and its unique attractions that will include live bands in the evening are designed for entire families to come and enjoy together so there will be lots of classes available for youth racers as well."

North Carolina Motorsports Park has hosted Loretta Lynn Amateur Qualifiers and has been a regional hot spot for more than a decade. For this special event the facility will construct an exclusive EnduroCross* course as well as a 2 mile + Grand Prix course and will have a one of a kind Sprint Enduro course.

Throughout the weekend there will be opportunities to support Destry Abbot’s DA8 Strong foundation and pick up DA8 Strong swag.
